How to send us your test results

PTE Academic is a computer-based academic English language test aimed at non-native English speakers wanting to study abroad. It tests Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

Questions often test 2 skills together, such as listening and reading or reading and speaking. The whole test is done in a single session, lasting 3 hours and is taken sitting at a computer in a secure test environment. The speaking part of the exam is done at the computer. Your voice is recorded and sent for marking.

One advantage of this test is that you get your results very quickly; in about 5 days.

PTE Academic is a multi-level test, like IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC.

PTE vs IELTS

Skills Institute Australia accepts PTE

If you are studying Comprehensive English, there is no minimum English requirement.

However, for our other courses, as a general rule, applicants must have a minimum of IELTS 5.5  or PTE 36. The test must be no more than 2 years old.

PTE verification

In order for us to verify the authenticity of your PTE test results, this is what you need to do:

1. Login to your account.
2. Click ‘Send Scores‘.
3. Type “Skills Institute Australia” in the field marked ‘Institution / Organization / Department / School‘ and click ‘Search‘.
4. Tick the box next to Skills’s name when it appears in the list.
5. Review your details then scroll down the page and click ‘Next‘ and then ‘Next‘ again to confirm.
